Former MLB pitcher Jay Jackson, AKA "Smiley J" is launching his new mentorship and coaching platform, The S.M.I.L.E. Zone. The program is based on his book 9 Innings to Your Best Life and will be staffed by coaches with decades of professional experience. The program with have a very personal one-on-one experience for the student.
Recently retired Jay Jackson is excited about the launch of the S.M.I.L.E. Zone program aimed at helping young athletes improve their mental and physical health. "The S.M.I.L.E. Zone is definitely gonna be something I feel like is gonna be beneficial to a lot of younger athletes, especially if you have a tendency to overthink things," says Jackson. "But also if you wanna be the best version of yourself or have a chance to have the mindset to be in the big leagues."
Jay, who himself has 17 years of professional playing experience, has hand-selected the coaches that will be working with the platform. They will all have top-tier playing experience and subscribe to the S.M.I.L.E. mentality. "I have that are joining me with the S.M.I.L.E. Zone have all either played at least at AAA and 90 % of them have played in the MLB and overseas too," explains Jackson with a smile. "So we're we're working with great people you have a great mindset people to let let your athletes know how to make sure they're using themselves and their minds the best to get the best out of them."

The program offers personalized coaching and a structured curriculum based on the book " We have 100 spots available right now," says Jay. "I don't want to overload our coaches because it is so personalized. There's only 100 spots available right now. I think maybe by the time this releases, there might be less than 50."
Jackson sees The S.M.I.L.E. Zone as a way of spreading the mantra of 9 Innings to Your Best Life, spread positivity and make the world a better place. Jay explains, "If we only get a hundred people and they change their mindsets to be more positive. That hundred turns into 200, 200 turns into four, four turns into eight, and keeps going and going and then we have a more positive world and a positive space where everybody's doing what they love to do. You're making this world a better place."
I will post a link here when the program goes live.
